The recall made on the ASRs was prompted by the company’s inability to test its products appropriately which made hundreds of recipients file a DePuy lawsuits. Even more detrimental is the fact DePuy delayed the recall as long as possible instead of acting appropriately at the first sign of trouble. As far back as 2008, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration had received 300 complaints over DePuy’s hip implants, while a report from the Australian National Joint Replacement Registry showed that the same implants failed within five years 12 to 13 percent of the time. Victims of the DePuy hip replacement recall can now start to question what legal options are available for them.

The sunshine at the weekend inspired a good friend to propose that we should have a day out and do something out of the ordinary. She had read an article about the Watercress Line heritage railway line which was taken on by volunteers in the 1970’s and has over the years become a much loved tourist attraction in the south. It goes via four stations covering about ten miles of Hampshire scenery, and you can get a ticket which enables you to get on and off as many times as you choose during the day.
