There has been a warning released by the US Food and Drug Administration over concerns about a sexual enhancement drug sold on the internet. The FDA released a list of sexual performance enhancements that were found to be a risk to human health back in 2004. FDA compliance was lacking as the manufacturers of these drugs were breaking federal law by refusing to fully disclose all of the ingredients in the sexually stimulating drugs.

A few of the many drugs that were found to be breaking the law include Lycium Barbarum L., Adam Free, Rhino V Max, V.Max, True Man, Energy Max, HS Joy of Love, NaturalUp, Blue Steel and Erextra.

You can see the full list of illegal products on the FDA’s website. Each of the banned products are promoted as a pill to prevent erectile dysfunction and enhance your performance in bed. If you take prescription drugs or use some herbal remedies then you are risking your health by taking these illegal drugs.

The most current product to be attacked by the FDA is Stiff Nights which is sold over the web and in some retail outlets. The active ingredients are not listed on the website or on the packaging and it is listed as an all natural dietary supplement though this is far from the truth. This is in breach of FDA Compliance under their regulations governing drug marketing. Withholding ingredient information can put consumers at serious health risk because the active ingredients in many sexual enhancement drugs can react with prescription medicines.

Men are at the highest risk if they’re taking medication for conditions including heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol at the same time as taking Stiff Nights and other performance enhancing drugs. Sulfoaildenafil is the main cause of this and it is the same ingredient that comes in the legal medicine Viagra. When sulfoaildenafil and nitrate drugs are taken together they have the ability to seriously lower blood pressure. Erectile dysfunction is often suffered by men who take nitrate drugs to treat the above conditions, so it is a vicious circle.

Because these banned sexual enhancement drugs are advertised as ‘all-natural’, the men don’t think there is a risk to taking them at the same time as their prescription drugs. A customer complaint led the FDA to investigate Stiff Nights. After investigation the FDA deemed it necessary to produce their warning.
